Payroll & Accounting Specialist

Fixed Labs is looking for a Payroll & Accounting Specialist who can support the financial and administrative backbone of a busy logistics operation. The role combines careful payroll coordination, accounting support, reporting, and follow-through across employee records, vendor payments, and operating metrics.

What you will do

Review timesheets, attendance records, PTO, bonuses, and payroll inputs before each payroll cycle.
Maintain employee payroll records and coordinate payroll-related changes, corrections, and offboarding updates.
Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoice tracking, reconciliations, and payment follow-up.
Prepare budget, cash flow, profitability, and operating-cost reports for client leadership.
Organize documentation for payroll, accounting, employee records, and recurring financial processes.
Communicate clearly with managers when payroll, accounting, or reporting items need clarification.

What we are looking for

Experience in payroll, accounting support, bookkeeping, finance operations, or administrative finance roles.
Strong spreadsheet skills and comfort working with payroll, accounting, or workforce management systems.
High attention to detail when reviewing hours, PTO, bonuses, invoices, payment records, and reports.
Clear spoken and written English for client updates, questions, and written follow-up.
Ability to handle confidential payroll and financial information with care and discretion.
College education or equivalent professional training in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.

Job conditions

Remote (Latin America-based).
Compensation: salary paid in USD.
English level: advanced.
Full-time, Contractor.
Schedule: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
Work hours require reliable overlap with U.S. business hours.
